Your 5 Night Travel Itinerary

Day One

Arrive & Meet

Private airport transfer with Mercedes Vito & professional driver including greeter service (1 hour) to The Burdock Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Forming part of the Marriott International network, Burdock offers an elegant and authentic stay surrounded by culture, shopping, art etc

The hotel is located in central Istanbul, within easy reach of the city’s key cultural, dining, and shopping districts.

Day Two

Walking Tour and Shared Yacht Sundowner

Morning: Your guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby, and you will head to the heart of the historical peninsula, exploring the magnificent 15th-century Topkapı Palace & Harem Quarter, Spice Market and Rüstempaşa Mosque.

Lunch: Local lunch during walking tour at Pandeli Restaurant - Own Cost

Evening: 2 hour shared tour along the Bosphorus. Throughout the cruise, you will admire 19th-century Ottoman summer palaces, medieval fortresses, elegant wooden waterfront mansions (yalıs), historic mosques, and more.


Note

Sundowner transportation is not included. The distance is short and easily accessible by public transportation (F1 funicular to Karaköy), by tram (T1 line), or by taxi, which typically takes around 5–10 minutes.

Day Three

Private Walking Tour with Guide

Morning: Your guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby, for a walking tour to Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque from the outside, Hippodrome, which used to be the center of the city.

Afternoon: Lunch at Aslan Restaurant (own cost) then a last stop at the Grand Bazaar. Your guide will show you the way to the finest handmade carpet & kilim stores, ceramic items, ‘ikat’ (handwoven silk) pillowcases & kaftans, and more.

Day Four

Departure to Cappadocia

Morning check out. Private road transfer for your internal flight to Central Turkey.

Hotel: Yunak Elveri is a unique cave hotel carved into a mountain cliff.

This hotel is part of a collection of 5th and 6th century rooms featuring stone interiors and antique furnishings, the rustic rooms offer Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and iPod docks. All have marble bathrooms, patios and minibars, plus tea and coffeemakers. Suites add living areas, and whirlpool tubs or Turkish baths.

Day Five

Hot Air Balloon & Private tour

Morning: Pick up from your hotel before sunrise and transferred to the launch site, where a light snack will be served prior to the flight. After landing, a brief celebratory ceremony will follow before your return transfer to the hotel.

Mid-Morning: Visit to the Göreme Open Air Museum, a must-see UNESCO World Heritage Site.During the tour, you will enjoy a local lunch along the way (at your own cost) , allowing you to experience regional flavors.

The day concludes with a visit to Avanos village, a traditional and charming settlement famous for its pottery-making tradition dating back to the Hittites.

At the end of the tour, your guide will drop you off at your hotel.

Day Six

Depart Cappadocia to Istanbul

Private airport transfer with Mercedes Vito & professional driver (1 hour). Depending on flight time, we can arrange a day room at a hotel or schedule a 1-night stay.

  • Essential Travel Info for Turkey

    Kenyan citizens holding an ordinary (non-official) passport need a visa to enter Turkey. The visa must be obtained before leaving Kenya.

    Canadian, US, UK passport holders are visa exempt up to 90 days

    PLEASE CONFIRM VISA ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR RESPECTIVE NATIONALITIES

    If Self-Employed: Contract documents & leave/cover letter as applicable, proof of regular income along with last 6 months’ personal bank statement (original or copies attested by bank): Bank balance must have a substantial amount that would cover the expenses during their stay.

    Employment Letter: Original Leave letter from the company with letterhead stating applicant’s designation, period of work, salary, purpose of visit and duration of travel with travel dates accompanying persons with signature, seal and stamp.

    Proof of accommodation (Hotel booking or Hosted by Family and Friends)

    Hotel Reservation: Details of applicants name, check-in & checkout dates on travel agent letterhead with seal, signature, name & designation.

    Application Method: Turkish Embassy in Kenya, in-person appointment

    April to June and September to October: These seasons bring mild temperatures and clear skies, ideal for city walks, cultural tours, and Cappadocia’s iconic hot air balloon flights.
