Nairobi National Park

Needs us!

At Hippy Safaris, we believe that being a Partner in Tourism means being a protector. Today, our hearts are heavy. The upland forest of Nairobi National Park—a sanctuary for lions, rhinos, and the iconic Maasai giraffe—is under threat.

Right now, 100 acres of sensitive wild habitat are being cleared for new construction projects, including a convention center and parking lots. Our friends at FoNNaP have confirmed that the clearing began on March 21, 2026.

We cannot stand by while our "Wilderness in the City" is turned into concrete. We need to stop this destruction before it becomes irreversible.
