First Safari Destination

The Great Plains

The Masai Mara is a legendary landscape that pulses with the raw energy of the wild, home to the greatest concentration of predators on Earth and the stage for the world-renowned Great Migration. As a crown jewel of African conservation, it protects a vast ecosystem where millions of wildebeest and zebra thunder across the plains in a seasonal spectacle visible from space.

Beyond the iconic Big Five, you’ll witness the high-stakes drama of the savannah—cheetahs sprinting across golden grasslands and massive crocodile congregations in the Mara River. In the Mara’s exclusive private conservancies, you can escape the crowds for night drives and guided bush walks, gaining an intimate perspective on the land the Maasai people have coexisted with for centuries.

Emboo Safari Camp offers an innovative, ecofuturistic safari experience nestled within a lush, riverine forest in the heart of the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. This pioneering camp is renowned for being the first fully "closed-loop" eco-camp in the region, situated along a bend of the Talek River where hippos and elephants are frequent visitors to the banks just steps from your tent. The camp features luxurious, eco-friendly suites designed with a contemporary African aesthetic that emphasizes harmony with nature.

3 Nights at Emboo River Camp

The Camp vibe is quiet, soulful, and revolutionary. Because Emboo operates a fleet of 100% electric safari vehicles (EVs), your game drives are silent, allowing you to glide through the savannah without the roar of an engine.Located in the Mara Confluence sector, the camp is just minutes away from prime Great Migration crossing points and the high-density big cat territories that make the Maasai Mara a wonder of the natural world.

Surrounded by ancient groves of Elephant Pepper trees, the camp is unfenced, allowing wildlife to wander freely through the grounds. It is a place of "quiet luxury" —there are no permanent structures, no fences, and no crowds—just the raw beauty of the Savannah and the legendary hospitality of a camp that has remained a favourite for decades

With no generator noise and a commitment to sustainability, the atmosphere is one of profound peace and exclusivity.

Located in the Mara North Conservancy, the camp offers world-class game viewing away from the main park's traffic.
