Friday 21 August 2026Explore Soweto and Museum visits
Throughout the day, your guide will share stories of the Soweto community and the Apartheid Museum, a powerful and deeply moving space that chronicles South Africa’s journey from segregation to democracy.
You will also visit the former home of Nelson Mandela, where you gain intimate insight into the life of one of the world’s most influential leaders.

Saturday 22 August 2026Greatest Rivalry Match
It’s game time at the Ellis park Stadium for the first test between the Spingboks vs All Blacks
Return to hotel after the match.

Sunday 23 August 2026South African Braai Experience
Experience a traditional South African Braai, a local favourite where open flames, shared plates, and lively conversation to close your holiday at Lebo’s Backpackers Braai.

Ordinary Kenyan passport holders can enter South Africa visa-free for up to 90 days per calendar year
Foreign passport holders (including EU states, UK, USA, Canada, Australia) receive visa-free entry for up to 90 days for tourism.
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Credit and debit cards are widely accepted.
ATMs are easily available in cities and major towns.
It is advisable to carry small cash amounts for tips and smaller establishments.
Uber and licensed taxis are widely used in major cities.
Always carry identification (a copy of your passport is sufficient for daily use).
Please note that South Africa is experiencing load-shedding, and not all services might be fully operational at all times
Electricity: Travelers will need a Type M adapter (large three-round-pin plug), as South Africa uses a different plug configuration.

To snag your room and lock in your rate, we need a 50% deposit when you book. Final balance must be cleared no less than 45 days to your arrival. Alternate payment schedules can be considered on a case by case basis
Just a heads-up, all bookings depend on availability and aren't fully confirmed until we get that first deposit.

Cancel 91+ days out: You'll get your initial 50% deposit back, minus any small transaction or admin fees.
Cancel 61-90 days out: There's a 20% cancellation fee.
Cancel 31-60 days out: A 50% cancellation fee applies.
Cancel 30 days or less out: Unfortunately, no refund is issued at this point.
How to Cancel: Send us your cancellation request in writing. If a refund is due, we'll process it within 14 business days of getting your request.
